Norwegian language and culture provides a foundational understanding of Norwegian grammar, pronunciation, and everyday communication. It also covers key aspects of Norway's history and traditions.

    Focus on common words and expressions used in daily life, emphasizing practical communication.
  • Listening and conversation skills:
    Practice in oral comprehension and conversation in everyday situations.
  • Grammar and sentence structure:
    Basic knowledge of Norwegian grammar, syntax, and word order..
  • Reading and writing:
    Reading comprehension of different types of texts and the ability to write both informally and formall



    • Dialects:
      Awareness of the various Norwegian dialects and how they may affect language understanding.
    • Sociolects:
      Differences in language usage based on social and geographical factors.
    • Historical events:
      Knowledge of key events in Norwegian history, such as the dissolution of the union in 1905, World War II, and the development of the welfare state.
