Enjoy Norway’s nature

Nature is our playground! We hike Bergen’s seven mountains, experience the fjord landscape, light campfires in the forest, and go fishing. In winter, you can try skiing or perhaps see the Northern Lights. Together, we experience the best Norwegian nature has to offer – through simple outdoor life and meaningful experiences.

Experience Norwegian culture

Norway is also a country full of culture, music, theatre, festivals, and art. In Bergen, you will find all of this – and more. We visit museums and places that tell the story of the country and its people. On the study trip to the Sognefjord, we dive even deeper into Norway’s cultural heritage – between high mountains and deep fjords.

Learn Norwegian

You get around 200 hours of Norwegian instruction. We work with grammar, vocabulary, and everyday language – and you get many chances to use the language in practice. After your year at Fana, you travel home with both the skills and the confidence to speak Norwegian!
