En internasjonal yrkesrettet videreutdanning med hovedvekt på plantematerialer og dets estetiske og tekniske muligheter. The vocational college program Experimental expressions with plant materials is a higher practical, flexible and further education which focus on sustainability, use of plant materials and its technical possibilities.
Studiet er en internasjonal yrkesrettet videreutdanning med hovedvekt på plantematerialer og dets estetiske og tekniske muligheter. Studiet retter seg mot alle typer håndverkere, designere, interiørarkitekter, blomsterdekoratører, kunstnere, lærere innen design og håndverk, og andre esteter som ønsker mer kunnskap om og med plantematerialer.
Undervisning og arbeidskrav vil foregå på engelsk, men språkferdigheter er ikke i fokus. Studiet er samlingsbasert med noen lengre skoledagen enn hva som er vanlig. Det må også påregnes arbeid i angitte helger, samt at to av samlingene foregår i andre land. Studiet bygger videre på kompetansen hos yrkesutøvere innen estetiske fag tilsvarende fagbrev. Kompetansekravet kan erstattes av tilsvarende realkompetanse.
Innholdet i studiet er spisset mot bruk av plantematerialer i følgende tre retninger; fri kunstnerisk utforming, design eller håndverk. Studenten kan selv velge retning(er) gjennom studieløpet.
The contents of the program give competence of using botanical materials in the three following directions: Free artistic work, Design or Craft, where the students may choose direction/-s through the course of the program.
Contents of the program:
Craft experimentation and use of plant material in combination with other handicrafts
Idea- and concept development that includes project management in creative works, exhibition techniques, communication and dissemination

Number of credit points: 30 vocational credit points
Full time/part time: Part-time for one year
Number of sessions/gatherings: 7 sessions with duration of 5-6 days
Admission requirements:
Admission requirements for Experimental expressions with plant materials are:
1. Successfully completed the Norwegian upper secondary education cf. Norwegian vocational school law §16 Design and craft, and certificate in the relevant subjects. (This applies to Norwegian students.)
2. Prior learning equivalent to Section 1. Applicants seeking validation/ foreign students must contact the vocational college for guidance.
In addition, the applicant must have basic knowledge in ICT

Tution fee (NOK): EUR 641 /NOK 6.600,-Fagskolestudiet Botanisk Design og ledelse gjennomføres ikke skoleåret 2022-2023. Studiet skal revideres slik at det blir enda enklere å studere ved siden av jobb. Neste mulighet for å søke blir fra 1. februar 2023.
For: The education is for various craftsmen, florists, designers, artists and teachers working with arts and crafts who want to continue their lifelong education through the experimentation of plant materials
Organization and work methods: The education is offered as a session-based study with 7 sessions with the duration of 5-6 days. Between the sessions input and tutoring are given by using the Internet and different digital tools. In this way, EX is a flexible education.
Place of study: Norges grønne fagskole – Vea, Turistveien 92, 2390 Moelv, Norway. Two of the sessions/gatherings are held outside Norway.
