Om studiet
The Master of Fine Arts is a two-year degree programme (120 ECTS) aiming to offer students the knowledge required to become an independent artist. The MFA enables students to become active contributors within contemporary art and related areas of society, and aims to prepare fine-art professionals for a national- and international-level practice.
The programme offers high-level teaching in contemporary art across a wide range of practices, including painting, drawing, photography, video, film, sculpture, installation, performance, and new media.
It is interdisciplinary and not limited to any specific medium.
The programme is designed to accommodate students who are not proficient in Norwegian; all courses can be taught in English if necessary.
