Om studiet
Discover Norway at Stavern Folk High School – for those who want to experience the very best of Norway.
Live at a Norwegian Folk High School. Travel, explore, and experience Norwegian nature, culture and everyday life alongside Norwegian and other international students.
Throughout the year, we take learning outside the classroom. You will hike, explore the coastline, visit towns and cultural sites, try outdoor activities and experience Norwegian traditions first-hand. You will also get creative with traditional crafts, prepare Norwegian food and discover how history and culture have shaped life in Norway.
Learning Norwegian is a natural part of the experience. Through everyday life at school, excursions and activities, you will learn useful words and phrases and practice Norwegian in real-life situations. The goal is not just to learn a new language, but to use it while connecting with local people and gaining a deeper understanding of Norwegian culture and everyday life.
