The Bachelor in Religion and Social Science at HLT provides a broad, interdisciplinary education combining the study of religion, ethics, and society. You gain knowledge of world religions, biblical and global history, ethical perspectives, and key topics in sociology and social anthropology.
The programme focuses on understanding how religion and worldview influence identity, politics, and social development. You explore themes such as global justice, cultural diversity, and contemporary societal challenges, and learn to analyse complex issues from both local and international perspectives.
Throughout the programme, you develop skills in research methods, critical thinking, and academic writing. You will work on concrete research projects and complete a bachelor’s thesis, preparing you to analyse and communicate knowledge in a structured and reflective way.
