Eight vocational education programmes lead to either a trade certificate or a journeyman's certificate. Most of these consist of two years in school and two years apprenticeship. You choose a specialisation, a programme area in Year 2.

After two years in school, you spend two years as an apprentice. A journeyman's certificate or a trade certificate is awarded after you have passed a theoretical exam and a practical test. You get vocational skills and become a skilled worker.
