You can choose one of five general studies programmes: Art, design and architecture, Media and communication, Music, dance and drama, Specialisation in general studies and Sports and physical education.
These programmes are mainly theoretical and provide you with a good foundation for further studies at university or university college.

Year 2 (Vg2) is a continuation of the programme you chose in Year 1. You can select a specialisation. Some subjects are compulsory, whilst others are not.
