Many spend a year at a community college after completing upper secondary education. Community colleges are either Christian or independent. All are residential colleges and do not have examinations. You usually choose one subject. Courses offered include: music, drama, arts and crafts, media, travel and sports.

Most community colleges have a minimum age of 18, but some colleges admit younger students.
